Our Therapy Approach

Our therapy is integrative with person-centred at the core, offering solution-focused elements of CBT/Mindfulness. A two dimensional goal focused integrative therapy firstly provides an opportunity to cope with any current or long standing distress and secondly ensures learned skills and strategies that will aid any future challenges.

We feel that our way of working with clients enables them to reach their own potential, increasing self-belief that will equip them with learned cognitive coping skills to carry through life.

Without Help

Many young people are without the means to cope with emotional distress. Early interventions help to prevent a roundabout of decline emotionally and academically, that includes poor behaviours, low academic achievements, truancy, exclusion, substance abuse and involvements in crime.

We are able to provide our services off site, but find that young people often feel more comfortable in the familiar surroundings of the school. We are happy to make regular appointments at the school, all we ask is a quiet and confidential space is offered.

All our counsellors have been subject to enhanced CRB checks, and engage in regular clinical supervision.

We are all individual members of the British Association Of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, and follow their ethical framework for safe practice. We are covered by all indemnities.
